IT Field Operations Manager
We’re looking for an IT Field Operations Manager to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT operations, mentoring team members, ensuring wash uptime, and driving collaboration between IT, Operations, and Maintenance.
Responsibilities
IT Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day IT operations repair and maintenance team, ensuring system uptime and timely user support.
Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and develop IT Field Technicians, fostering professional growth and ensuring high service standards.
Field Service Oversight: Supervise IT Field Technicians, manage IT Field Technicians schedule, ensuring optimal service delivery and adherence to operational procedures.
Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce IT standardization policies, repair standards, and operational best practices.
Budget Management: Manage R&M (Repairs & Maintenance) spend, budgets, CAPEX, returns, mileage, travel, and invoicing systems to optimize resources.
Project Leadership: Lead IT Field Technician projects and initiatives, ensuring on time and effective execution.
Tool Management: Oversee the work order platform, ensure that all work orders are addressed within SLA, develop and track R&M KPIs, and manage the on-call schedule to maintain high team performance.
Skillset: Work in the field as needed on R&M repairs and assist with new site installations when needed.
Inventory Tracking: Manage and track IT spare parts inventory and report on assets needing replacement.
Cross-Department Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between IT, Operations, Maintenance, and IT Leadership team ensuring collaboration and IT alignment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in IT operations management or a related field.
Strong IT experience with previous roles in IT services, troubleshooting, low voltage, cameras, POS, corporate IT, and/or software management.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Budget management experience with familiarity in tools like Divvy, Lightyear, and MaintainX is a plus.
Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with various stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to travel out of state and work with all IT Field tech markets.
