We currently have operating 127 units in 6 states with continued strategic growth across all of our markets. The company has doubled its unit count over the last 3 years. We are focused on either building or acquiring high performing units in our existing markets as well as the opportunity to enter new markets through acquisition.

WhiteWater is a portfolio of Freeman Spogli & Co. and SkyKnight Capital. Freeman Spogli & Co. has over 40 years investing in consumer and retail focused companies and has been an investor since 2021. SkyKnight Capital manages over $3.5 billion and originally invested in 2018.

Purpose
The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for overseeing, leading and coordinating all aspects of the Company’s operational reporting, budget development, ad hoc financial analysis, and supporting real estate and M&A diligence and return analysis.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will interact frequently with Company leaders, operations leaders and department leaders.

Objectives
Financial Reporting

  • Lead the preparation of various internal reporting packages as well as board and lender reporting packages.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs), providing variance analysis and actionable insights to operations and Company leadership.

Financial Analysis

  • Construct financial models and conduct scenario analyses to support decision-making and development of strategic initiatives.
  • Assess capital investments and resource allocations to optimize return on investment.
  • Measure effectiveness of various pricing and marketing strategies and analyze the profitability of store locations, regions, and customer types.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive revenue growth while optimizing costs to improve profitability.
  • Support M&A activities, business integrations, and financial due diligence when applicable.

Overall Business Impact

  • Work with regional and operations teams to ensure financial discipline and alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to FP&A analyst as well as cross-collaboration with accounting team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive finance experience required, with 3 years leading a team preferred.
  • Advanced experience in business modeling, management reporting, and operational metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with building effective financial reporting and analysis tools and databases using systems like Sage / NetSuite for Financial ERP, and BI tools like Tableau/Power BI/Domo.
  • An effective leader with strong interpersonal, leadership and management skills with a strong team orientation.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with senior business partners.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Target Compensation: $110-130k plus annual bonus
