Position Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Installation Technician to oversee the installation of car wash equipment at new builds, remodels, and equipment upgrade projects across our growing portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, leading crews in the field, and solving problems in real time. You’ll work closely with construction teams, vendors, and operations partners to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

If you’re experienced with mechanical and electrical systems, enjoy traveling to projects, and like seeing a site come to life, this is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role.

  • Perform and oversee mechanical and electrical installation work
  • Ensure safety standards and regulatory requirements are followed on all projects
  • Coordinate with Construction, Operations, and vendors to keep projects on schedule
  • Conduct equipment testing, commissioning, and startup support
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve technical challenges in real time
  • Maintain installation documentation and project records
  • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in equipment installation, construction, or industrial mechanical work
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple workstreams on job sites
  • Welding, rigging, and material handling experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to safety

Preferred Certifications

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Construction)
  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety
  • Forklift or Aerial Lift (MEWP) certification

Work Environment & Travel

This is a field-based role primarily working on active construction sites and operational facilities and requires:

  • Frequent travel to project sites across the country
  • Project assignments lasting 3–4 weeks at a time, followed by time at home between projects
  • Work performed outdoors and around construction equipment, water systems, and mechanical infrastructure

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Lifting and moving equipment up to 50+ pounds
  • Working at heights, climbing ladders, and operating hand and power tools

Benefits
